ARTIFACT: This is a beautifully hand made Bullion LEDO Road shoulder sleeve patch probably make in India. The Ledo Road construction was started on 12/25/42 and continued until 1/22/45. This shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized for personnel working on the road at that time and for local wear only.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943-44.

SIZE: About 3 in width by 3-1/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Tinsel bullion, silver wire, silk, wool, felt, woven wool, and cotton twill with a thing cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine–Very fine): Patch is unused but has some storage wear. Right hand star has pulls.
