This is a beautifully hand made Bullion LEDO Road shoulder sleeve patch probably make in India. The Ledo Road construction was started on 12/25/42 and continued until 1/22/4This shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized for personnel working on the road at that time and for local wear only.
VINTAGE:Circa 1943-44.
SIZE:About 3" in width by 3-1/4"in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Tinsel bullion, silver wire, silk, wool, felt, woven wool, and cotton twill with a thing cotton backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine - Very fine): Patch is unused but has some storage wear. Right hand star has pulls.
