ARTIFACT: This is an absolutely gorgeous US Army Ledo Road shoulder patch. It is CBI (China Burma, India) Threater made in bullion, tinsel, and silk embroudered on gabordine wool. The Ledo Road, which ran from Ledo, Assam, India to Kunming, Yunnan, China was built during World War II so that the Western Allies could supply the Chinese as an alternative to the Burma Road (which had been cut by the Japanese in 1942). The triangle chaped patch has three stars on top and a road running into a sunset horizon from the bottom.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Appr: 3-3/8" x 2-1/2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bullion, Tinsel, & Silk embroidery on Gabardine Wool.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): Light fraying, but excellent coloring!
