Description
This is a beautiful World War II United States Army Air Forces Technical Representative shoulder patch made in the China-Burma-India theatre. The crest-shaped patch is embroidered in bullion and silk threads.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/4" in height 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in bullion and silk threads, muslin backing, metal snaps.
ATTACHMENT:Three snaps.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:We have other tech rep items available that were purchased along with this item, all of which came from the estate of a Pratt & Whitney tech rep who returned to New Hampshire after the war. CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch is in very nice condition with some light tarnish to the bullion and one very small piece of wool missing along the edge.
