ARTIFACT: This is a fantastic and ultra-rare World War II United States Army Air Forces Technical Representative Observer (think technical observer wing!) shoulder patch made in the China-Burma-India theatre. The patch is bordered and embroidered in bullion and silk threads and has a handsomely detailed winged star at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered in bullion and silk threads, muslin backing, metal snaps.

ATTACHMENT: Four snaps.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: We have other tech rep items available that were purchased along with this item, all of which came from the estate of a Pratt & Whitney tech rep who returned to New Hampshire after the war. This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJJX11 LGIEX7/11 SGJJX9/11
