Description
This is a beautiful and rare circa 1920s South African Air Force (SAAF) pilot wing. The wing is South African-made and is slightly padded. The crest at the center of the wing has four quadrants and is the coat of arms formerly used on the South African national flag.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 4-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt with cotton/silk embroidery, muslin backing, padding.
