Beautiful 1930's - Early WWII United States Coast Guard small size Officer hat badge by Blackinton. The gold filled bronze and sterling badge, for wear on overseas cap is an eagle bearing a silver shield on its chest and grasping an anchor in its talons. The badge is two pieces, the shield and anchor are one piece and the eagle another, held together with screw post and backing.
