1st Reconnaissance Group or Bomb Assault Group Badge/Insigne 1-54 GBA ou GR

This is a very rare badge from the 1st Escadrille Reconnaissance Group or the Bombardment Assault Group, GBA 1-5The badge is made by G. Moret and is maker-marked on the back beneath the catch for the pin.

1930's-1940's.

1" in height by 7/8" in width (2.6 cm by 2.3 cm).

Silver plated brass and enamel.

Vertical safety-type pin with simple catch attached to the back.

Very hard to see under the catch, but it reads: G MORET PARIS, 79 FAUBOURG DU TEMPLE.

8 (Excellent-) This badge is in a very good condition. There are a few cracks in the enamel on the upper left and on the lower right corner, but otherwise this badge is in excellent condition.
