ARTIFACT:
This is a French badge for the Walking Group I-21 "Artois" by Augis. I/21 existed from April 1952 until early 1956, and flew Grumman F8F Bearcats in combat in Indochina. Ceci est un insigne pour le Groupe de Marche I/21 "Artois" faite par Augis. I/21 existait à partir d'avril 1952 jusqu'au début de 1956, et a volé des Grumman Bearcat F8Fs au combat en Indochine.

Circa 1952.
SIZE:
About 1-1/2" in height and 1" in width. Environ 3.8 cm par 2.5 cm.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Silver-plated brass, enamel. Laiton plaqué argent et émail.
ATTACHMENT:
Broken vertical safety-style pin with saddle. Une verticale de sécurité de style broches avec selle (cassée).

5+ (Fine-) This badge shows some moderate wear and tarnishing. The pin on the back is broken, and there is a small piece of the enamel missing. 5+ (Bonne): Ce badge montre une certaine usure modérée et au ternissement. Les broches à l'arrière est cassée, et il ya un petit morceau de disparus émail.
