ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1945-1948 French badge for the ship "Cavalier" by Augis in aluminum. Cavalier had service in Indochina. The badge is in painted aluminum and shows a knight on a horse charging through waves. Ceci est un badge à partir vers 1945-1948 pour le patrouiller Cavalier par Augis faite d'aluminium. Le Cavalier avait service en Indochine. Le badge est en aluminium peint et montre un chevalier sur un cheval de charge à travers les vagues.

Circa 1945-1948.
SIZE:
About 1-3/8" in width by 1-1/2" in height. Environ 0.5 cm par 3.8 cm.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Aluminum with paint. Aluminium avec de la peinture.
ATTACHMENT:
Diagonal safety-style pin with a "C" catch. Diagonale de sécurité de style broches avec un "C" attraper.
