This is a circa 1930s French Naval Ship "Gloire" badge with a great winged horse and man rising from the sea.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:About 7/8" in width by 1" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver with enamel accents.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with a "C" catch and a saddle to attach pin to badge-back.
MARKINGS:ARTHUS BERTRAND PARIS (makers mark) DEPOSE G. GUIRAUD.
