This is a beautiful example of a French Navy in Tunisia badge with a brown background by Augis in Lyon.
VINTAGE:Ca. 1947.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in width by 1-1/4" in height (2.3 cm by 3.3cm).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass and enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Safety-type pin with a simple catch attached to the back.
MARKINGS:A. AUGIS 2MEE ST BARTHOLEMY LYON.
