This is a 1980s submarine patch for the United States Submarine Squadron Two. Squadron Two was established in October 1945, at Groton, Connecticut, where it is still headquartered.
VINTAGE:Circa 1980s.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, partial mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LBCX4/12 SAIX6/13
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The patch shows little wear.
