This is a 1970s United States Navy patch for the submarine tender USS L. Y. Spear (AS-36). She was launched September 7, 1967 at Groton, Connecticut and was decommissioned on September 6, 1996.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
