This is a late 1960s or early 1970s patch for the United States Navy amphibious assault ship USS Guam (LPH-9). The Guam was launched on August 22, 1964 at Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. She was decommissioned on August 25, 1998.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1960s or early 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 5" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, partial muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
