Description
This is a 1966 date-coded Zippo lighter for the United States Navy ammunition ship USS Mauna Kea (AE-22). The Mauna Kea was launched May 3, 1956 and served in the Vietnam War. She sailed to South Vietnam in 1967 and was part of ServRon She was decommissioned June 30, 1995.
VINTAGE:Circa 1966.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" height and 1-1/2" width and " in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, painted details, nickel insert.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
