This is a stunning circa 1966 United States Navy ship lighter for the USS Rock AGSS-27An auxiliary general submarine, the Rock was redesignated from the World War II era submarine of the same name in 195Presented by the Commanding Officer, John Horner, this lighter was privately engraved and ornamented. It is near mint and unfired.
VINTAGE:Circa 1966.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:IIII ZIPPO ยจ IIII BRADFORD PA PAT. 2517191 on bottom.
