Description
This is a 1960s distinctive insignia by Meyer for the United States 62nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, a descendant of the 62nd Coastal Artillery Regiment. The DI is a crest showing alternating red and blue sections with borders like fortress walls and a ring of silver stars at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, maker mark, 22M in crest.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear to the enamel.
