This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 4th Air Defense Artillery by N. S. Meyer. The DI shows wheat, a fish hook and twelve arrows and reads AUDACIA (by daring deeds).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, shield maker mark, 22M in crest.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear and tarnish mostly on the reverse.
