ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 56th Air Defense Artillery. The DI is probably Japanese-made form the look of the posts. The DI shows a winged projectile over some red and silver rays and reads NIGHT HIDES NOT.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LABX12/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some minor abrasions only.
