This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 43rd Air Defense Artillery Regiment by Ira Green. The DI is a crest with a golden bend bearing three green oozlefinches and reads SUSTINEMUS (we support).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:IRA GREEN INC. G-23.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows light wear and some small areas of moderate tarnish.
