ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 517th Air Defense Artillery by Susco. The DI shows an aerial view of a black airplane and reads WE SWEEP THE SKY.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: SUSCO S-21.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LABX12/11

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The DI shows some small spots of moderate wear and tarnish.
