This is a 1950s distinctive insignia by N.S. Meyer for the United States Army 52nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment. The DI is a red crest with diagonal golden bend and reads SEMPER PARATUS (always prepared).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, raised maker's mark, 9M in shield.
