This is a 1950s distinctive insignia or the United States 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment by Dondero. The DI shows a golden panther, taken from the Coastal Defenses of Sandy Hook coat of arms, and reads NULLIUS PAVET OCCURSUM (He fears no encounter).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
