This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 69th Armored Regiment by Dondero of Washington, D.C. It shows a black panther climbing a green incline and reads VITESSE ET PUISSANCE (speed and power).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:A.H. DONDERO INC. WASH. D.C. D2.
