Description
This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 169th Infantry Regiment by Dondero. The DI shows two diagonal blue banners separating a fleur-de-lis from a prickly pear cactus. At the DI's top is a lion passant, and the DI reads ARMIS STANT LEGIS (laws are maintained by force of arms).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing and stabilization posts.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The DI has only some abrasions to the enamel and tarnish on reverse.
