WWII Italian-Made DI for US Army 169th Infantry Regiment

This is an Italian-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 169th Infantry Regiment. The DI is a red, white and blue crest showing a lion at top and reading ARMIS STANT LEGES (laws are maintained by force of arms).

Circa World War II.

5/8" height and 1/2" width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
