This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 243rd Artillery Battalion. The DI shows a rooster at the center of a maple leaf with a pine tree above and reads GAME TO THE LAST.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts (one is missing).
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months R/A93 LAJX11/11
CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The DI has some light abrasions and one of its posts are missing.
