ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 159th Aviation Battalion. The DI is enameled in blue and red with a background pattern representing helicopter blades with a golden dragon nodding to Vietnam service and reads PRESS ON.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts.

MARKINGS:

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK 22M Meyer maker's mark.
