This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 145th Aviation Battalion. The DI is enameled in blue and shows an upward pointing arrow.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:A.H. DONDERO WASH. D.C. D-21.
