This is a 1960s United Air Lines captain wing that was originally owned by Kermit R. Steinbeck, a pilot who had fifty-six years of service with United. The wing shows a red, white and blue crest at center and four stars at top, three of which have diamond chips.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome- and gold-plated brass with enameled areas and diamond chips.
ATTACHMENT:Two screw posts with disc backings and stabilization post.
