ARTIFACT: This is a 1960s United Air Lines captain wing that was originally owned by Kermit R. Steinbeck, a pilot who had fifty-six years of service with United. The wing shows a red, white and blue crest at center and four stars at top, three of which have diamond chips.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome- and gold-plated brass with enameled areas and diamond chips.

ATTACHMENT: Two screw posts with disc backings and stabilization post.

MARKINGS: LEAVENS MFG. ATTLEBORO, MASS.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Wing shows some areas of light wear.
