ARTIFACT: This is a Capital Airlines badge that originally belonged to Kermit R. Steinbeck. Steinbeck stayed on for a few decades with United Airlines after its 1961 merger with Capital (please see our United Airlines section for more items owned by Steinbeck). The badge is shaped like a wing and shows a bird-turned-plane and five stars at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" height and 3-5/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two screw posts with disc backings.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay RONGE8/95 LCFJX11/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Badge shows some light to medium wear and tarnish.
