ARTIFACT: This is a 1970s United Air Lines captain wing that was originally owned by Kermit R. Steinbeck, a pilot who had fifty-six years of service with United. The wing shows a red, white and blue crest at center and four stars at top, two of which have diamond chips.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 3-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome- and gold-plated brass with enameled areas and diamond chips.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch and stabilization post.

MARKINGS: LEAVENS MFG. ATTLEBORO, MASS.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RBEV8/98 LADEX11/10

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Wing shows very light abrasions and tarnish only.
