This is a 1960s patch for the United States Navy nuclear submarine USS Whale SSN-63She was launched from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard on October 14, 1966 and was decommissioned in June 199The lettering on the patch is in light blue embroidery.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-3/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
