Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s patch for the USS Daniel Webster SSBN-626, a nuclear ballistic submarine. She was launched from Groton, Connecticut on April 27, 1963, and served until 1990. The patch reads LIBERTY AND UNION.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 5-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
