ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 60th Infantry Regiment by Sherman. The DI is a black, mostly rectangular shield with a vertical wavy silver stripe, diamond and cannon, and reads TO THE UTMOST EXTENT OF OUR POWER.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-back catches.

MARKINGS: SHERMAN MFG. CO. PROVIDENCE R.I. 3S.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear and tarnish.
