1950s US Army 1st Infantry Regiment DI by Meyer

This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 1st Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI is an oval belt with a red, white and blue crest at its center and reads SEMPER PRIMUS (always first).

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, maker's mark, crest with 9M.

The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LBDX9/11
