This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 17th Infantry Regiment by Meyer. The DI shows a five-bastioned fortress, a cross patee and an embattled wall.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height by 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical post with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK and maker mark.
