1950s Robin Lines (Sea Shipping Co.) Hat Badge, Buttons and Collar Insignia

This is a circa 1950s Robin Lines (Sea Shipping Co) hat badge, one pair of hat buttons, four uniform buttons and one collar insignia. The badge is a striking red white and blue wing bearing an R nestled between a bullion laurel wreath and an eagle. The collar insignia is an R on one wing and comes with its original cellophane packaging.

Gold-plated and enameled brass wing on wool embroidered in gold bullion threads with woven cotton backing; gold-plated brass insignia; brass buttons.

Collar insignia has two posts with clutch-back catches; uniform buttons have single loops; hat buttons have single screw posts with sleeve backings.

Original manufacturer label on badge reads CORTLANDT 7-3323 ALL-BILT UNIFORMS INC. 147 FULTON ST. NEW YORK CITY; same on insignia label; SUPERIOR QUALITY on reverse of uniform buttons.
