Description
Circa 1943 WWII American Red Cross General Enrollment lapel badge in wartime shortage materials. The center features a white disc embroidered on silk bearing the iconic Red Cross and surrounding embroidery reads: "AMERICAN RED CROSS VOLUNTEER". The embroidered silk center has been affixed to a painted wood disc backing and front, covered with celluloid.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The lapel badge shows moderate wear, mostly to celluloid which shows age discoloration and separation on the edge, does not detract much.
