1940s DI for US Army 11th Engineer Battalion by Meyer

This is a 1940s distinctive insignia for the United States 11th Engineer Battalion by Meyer. The DI shows the head of a black panther in profile.

Circa 1940s.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-1/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK and maker mark.
