This is a 1940s-1950s Passaic County, New Jersey deputy sheriff's badge named to Hale S. Geiger. The badge resembles a sunburst with an eagle at top and shows the seal of the State of New Jersey at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s-1950s.
SIZE:2-3/16" height and 1-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
