This is a circa 1950s Merrimack County, New Hampshire Deputy Sheriff badge. The small badge is topped by an eagle and has a Seal of the State of New Hampshire at center. Merrimack County contains the Granite State's capital city, Concord, and is named for the Merrimack River.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
