Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1940s or 1950s Merrimack County, New Hampshire Deputy Sheriff badge in a lapel or wallet size. The small badge is topped by an eagle and has a Seal of the State of New Hampshire at center. Merrimack County contains the Granite State's capital city, Concord, and is named for the Merrimack River.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940s-1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.
