This is a circa 1920s or 1930s Monmouth County, New Jersey deputy sheriff badge. The badge is numbered 400 and has the State of New Jersey seal at its center. Monmouth County is within the metro area of neighboring New York.

Circa 1920's - 1930's.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

Gilt brass.

Vertical kick pin, drop-in locking catch.

400 on front.
