Description
This is a circa late 1940s or 1950s deputy sheriff badge from Yavapai County, Arizona. It is a six-pointed star with the State of Arizona seal at is center, which bears the motto DITAT DEUS (God enriches). The badge is named to L. C. Valentine and was made by the L. A. Stamp & Stationery Company.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s or 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
