ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s or World War II visor cap badge for an enlisted or non-commissioned officer of the Italian Fascist Militia (MVSN - Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale/ Voluntary Militia for National Security, or Blackshirts). The badge has some bullion details and is for wear on a field gray cap.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s – World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3-11/16" in height and 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered in silk/ cotton and bullion thread, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
