1930s-WWII Fascist Italian Highway Militia/Milizia Nazionale della Strada Officer Hat Badge

This is a rare officer hat badge for the Fascist Italian Highway Militia, or Milizia Nazionale della Strada, from the 1930s - World War II. The group was formed in 1928 to police roadways. The badge is beautifully embroidered in gold bullion.

Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 2-7/8" in width.
