ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s sheriff badge from Columbia County, New York. The badge is named to M. V. Saulpaugh and shows the seal of the State of New York at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" height and 1-9/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enameled lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS:

None.
