ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1917-1919 special deputy sheriff badge from Nassau County, New York. The badge shows the seal of the State of New York and is numbered 2288.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1917-1919.

SIZE:

2-1/2" height and 1-13/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with "C" catch.
