This is a 1926-1928 special deputy sheriff badge from Nassau County, New York. The badge shows the seal of the State of New York at center and is numbered 836.
VINTAGE:Circa 1926-1928.
SIZE:2-9/16" height and 1-11/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with painted details.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with "C" catch.
